What can a marketer do to make a sales pitch and not risk consumer backlash or regulatory wrath? The Direct Marketing Association Florida Chapter will present the answers in an unsurpassed day of education and insight on Thursday, April 22nd. Seasoned veterans and beginning marketers alike will discover new ways to reach customers with increased response rates.

National speakers from The COLLOQUY Group, Visa International, Yankelovich & Partners and Socketware, among others, will provide attendees with insight on the latest marketing techniques. This is the FDMA's biggest event of the year, drawing marketers from across the state and industry lines. Savvy professionals will pick up tips just by rubbing elbows with leading direct mailers, internet marketers, printers and others key to direct marketing campaigns.

Student winners of the Betty Kaufman Scholarship Fund will be announced at the DM Summit luncheon. Winners will each receive a $500 scholarship toward their marketing or communications program.

The day will be capped off with a drawing for a free campaign consultation, bringing five of South Florida's sharpest marketers together for a 2-hour session with a lucky session attendee at the time and location of their choosing. This give-away is valued at well over $1,500.

DM Summit 2004 will be held on Thursday, April 22nd at the Westin Hotel on Cypress Creek and I-95 in Fort Lauderdale from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Advance registration is $99 for members and $129 for non-members.
